Project oriented learning and open collaborative development

The purpose of the book is to outline a process for project oriented learning and open collaborative development. Ideally the process could be customized to fit both client and Drupal projects.

Here's a rough outline - please feel free to fill out, add clarity, question, and/or comment.

Drupal-Dojo lesson ideas and resources

The following is a general outline of Drupal related lesson/workshop ideas and resources. Ideally each open development project (i.e. install profile/distribution) will provide some opportunities to cover most of the topics below.

What is this place?

The general intent behind this site is to discuss, experiment, and collaborate on various ideas and practices for a Drupal learning portal as well as actual projects that are built on Drupal. This is by no means meant to replace any work that is occurring on the official Drupal sites and/or other efforts. We're hoping to 'see what works' and add value back to related projects.

Details to follow as time permits, but I just wanted to post something quick. Please feel free to add feedback, question, comment if you're actually able to log in!

Format for Drupal dojo screencasts

This is the initial stab at outlining a format(s) and production guidelines for Drupal Dojo screencasts. Very much a work in progress....

Requirements

  • Tighter, more streamlined lessons
    • Create outlines and scripts
    • Lessons that are 10 to 20 minutes rather than an hour and a half or more
    • A format for all of the sessions - something we can pitch to folks as an advertising opportunity
      • break a subject down into easy to handle segments
      • logical layout - Each lesson stands on its own, but builds on the previous lesson's knowledgebase
